Are you a Lewisham Council Housing resident (previously known as Lewisham Homes)? We're delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding through the Lewisham Council Housing Community Investment Fund to offer a range of free nature-based opportunities for children and families.What's available?

🌿 Nature Explorers (Ages 8–12)

Six monthly sessions at Dacres Wood Nature Reserve, running from March to October. Children will explore the woodland through hands-on activities such as pond dipping, wildlife identification, nature crafts, tool use, shelter building and seasonal discovery.🔥 Forest School Holiday Club PlacesFive fully funded places for children to attend a week of our Forest School Holiday Club at Dacres Wood Nature Reserve. Children spend their days immersed in nature, building confidence, learning new skills and making friends in a safe and supportive environment.

🐞 Little Explorers Funded Places

Four funded places for children to attend our Little Explorers sessions over six months. Attending regularly gives children the opportunity to experience the changing seasons, from the first signs of spring through to the colours of autumn, while building confidence and a connection with the natural world.We will also be offering volunteering opportunities for older young people who have previously attended our sessions and would like to gain experience supporting younger children.If you are a Lewisham Council Housing resident and think your child or family could benefit from one of these opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
