Wild Woodland Adventurers – Free Family Nature Day
Come and explore one of south-east London’s most magical green spaces with a morning or afternoon session of free nature-inspired activities at Nunhead Cemetery, led by the Secret Adventurers Club.
As part of Wild Woodland Adventurers, we’ll:
-
Craft with nature: Create seasonal treasures using natural materials.
-
Explore the woodland: Join a guided walk through one of London’s most biodiverse and historic cemeteries, home to butterflies, birds, and ancient trees.
-
Enjoy storytime under the trees: Gather beneath the canopy for a tale inspired by the forest around us.
Join us for a morning session for children under 5, or an afternoon session for children aged 6 and up. No booking required - we’ll meet you near the Linden Grove entrance ready to explore together!
This activity is delivered by Secret Adventurers Club in partnership with Southwark Council and the Friends of Nunhead Cemetery (FONC), with generous support from the Heritage Fund as part of the East Lodge restoration.
